The NFL Mock Draft of All Mock Drafts! 2021 Edition!

Updated: May 6, 2021

I bet by now you're all sick of reading about mock drafts.

Not me! I live for them.

Whether it's Mel Kiper, Jr., Daniel Jeremiah, Todd McShay, or Steven Cheah - I can't get enough of the experts weighing in on who they think should be selected to change NFL teams fortunes for year to come. It seems so easy, but it's not!

Lucky for you, there is a thicc stud who enjoys drinking from gallon sized water jugs while he livestreams his draft picks and ends up looking like King Kong drinking from the Warner Bros water tower.

Yes, me! Let's get into it!

1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence, QB - Clemson

There's no drama here. We all know who is being picked number 1. Will he be live from Jacksonville celebrating in the pool amongst the fans at TIAA Bank Field? Only time will tell. The only drama was me accidentally typing in IND during my draft livestream as the team that he goes to. Urban Meyer gets his guy.

2. New York Jets - Zach Wilson, QB - BYU

Once again, little drama here. I think Joe Douglas and company really liked what they saw at Wilson's pro day. But is Douglas staking his career with the Jets on this pick? Are there better options at QB available? Should have he stuck it out with Sam Darnold and traded back for a boatload more of picks? I think Douglas is an excellent evaluator of talent and I say this works out for him.

3. San Francisco 49ers - Mac Jones, QB - Alabama

With all due respect to Jones, I don't think he's the right choice here. Supposedly, Kyle Shanahan is very high on the guy but I feel that this will bite him in the ass when it's all said and done. I'll eat a ghost pepper during a live episode of #LitPicks if he is the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year! Bank it.

4. Atlanta Falcons - Kyle Pitts, TE - Florida

Matt Ryan was the 2016 NFL MVP and let his team to the Super Bowl. As a matter of fact, if the Falcons ran the ball more often and efficient he would be a Super Bowl Champion. I don't think they should try to draft a QB at this spot. Everyone knows how valuable Travis Kelce is to the Chiefs. I feel that Pitts can do that for the Falcons and bring them back to top contender status in the NFC. But it feels like we say that every year. They would have to use the rest of the draft to build at RB and on Defense.

5. Cincinnati Bengals - Penei Sewell, OT - Oregon

There is this funny meme on social media of how the Bengals should draft. Either take a high level receiver and Joe Burrow can never get the ball to him because he is constantly under pressure, or draft an elite OT and protect their prize possession. I say the Bengals make the right decision and go with the best tackle in the draft to guard Burrow's blindside for years to come.

6. Miami Dolphins - Ja'Marr Chase, WR - LSU

Many experts think the Dolphins will trade back here to reload. I disagree with that. They should go with the top WR on the board in order to build a brigade on offense around Tua with such talent that it leaves little room for excuses.

7. Detroit Lions - Devonta Smith, WR - Alabama

Again a position where many experts are predicting a trade to happen. Some don't think Devonta Smith should be a top 10 pick. I think his body of work says otherwise and the Lions get a fine replacement for Kenny Golladay.

8. Carolina Panthers - Rashawn Slater, OT - Northwestern

With the Panthers trading Teddy Bridgewater and going with Darnold as the starter, they need to move forward with addressing a need. Some are saying that Justin Fields will be the pick here but I think the Panthers are going to make sure that they will have a cornerstone left tackle who will protect Darnold (or whoever will be behind center) for the following years to come.

9. New England Patriots (Via Trade with DEN) - Justin Fields, QB - Ohio State

The Broncos have a need at QB. But I think they will get more picks when the Patriots move forward to get who some thought could steal the spotlight from Trevor Lawrence as the draft's top QB back during Bowl Season. He will get a chance to learn under Cam Newton who once said that Fields was the best high school player in the nation.

10. Dallas Cowboys - Patrick Surtain II, CB - Alabama

There's rumors that the Eagles will trade up to try to sneak Surtain from under the Cowboys nose, but I think they will stay put allowing the Cowboys to get there man.

11. New York Giants - Alijah Vera-Tucker, OL - USC

Is he a guard or a tackle? The Giants will have to figure that out as they add some protection for Daniel Jones and a healed Saquon Barkley.

12. Philadelphia Eagles - Jaycee Horn, CB - South Carolina

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my end as an Eagles fan. But I pray that Howie Roseman and company select the cornerback who has gotten comparisons to Richard Sherman and Jalen Ramsey. Make the right choice. But it will probably end up being a random defensive lineman.

13. Chicago Bears (Via Trade with LAC) - Trey Lance, QB - North Dakota State

After watching other teams make the move to trade up and snag the QB of their dreams, the Bears make their move by going with Lance. But will he be another bust? I'll go out on a limb and say he will be a future Pro Bowler.

14. Minnesota Vikings - Christian Barrmore, DL - Alabama

The Viking need help on the defensive line and they get one of the time defensive linemen in a weak draft for the position.

15. Denver Broncos - Christian Darrisaw, OT - Virginia Tech

Should the Broncos go QB here? I think there may be better value in later rounds that's why I say they get an OT with incredible reach to protect who they decide to go with at QB.

16. Arizona Cardinals - Jaylen Waddle, WR - Alabama

Looked at as a top receiver, Kyler Murray and company get a speedster who will team up with DeAndre Hopkins and two guys at the end of their road in Larry Fitzgerald and AJ Green to keep the Cardinals offense at a high level.

17. Las Vegas Raiders - Teven Jenkins, OT - Oklahoma State

The Raiders get an offensive tackle who buries people. Jenkins will ease Derek Carr's nerves when he's back in the pocket.

18. Miami Dolphins - Jaelan Phillips, EDGE - Miami

I'm thinking need at this spot for the Dolphins. Why not take who many believe to be the best pass rusher in the draft? Phillips has a history of injuries, but I see a bigger boom potential then bust.

19. Washington Football Team - Caleb Farley, CB - Virginia Tech

Some may say that this is a reach, but I like Farley at this point. Are there any other needs that the football team can address at this point? Possibly. But I like them addressing their defense by having a top corner like Farley join Chase Young and company.

20. Los Angeles Chargers - Rashod Bateman, WR - Minnesota

The Chargers trade back and are still able to nab a solid receiver. Bateman gives the Chargers a new receiving option to join Keenan Allen and Mike Williams with the departure of Hunter Henry to the Patriots. Maybe with the picks the Bears will send their way with the projected trade they can address TE later on in the draft.

21. Indianapolis Colts - Samuel Cosmi, OT - Texas

The Colts are going to have to protect Carson Wentz. There's no doubt about that. With the retirement of Anthony Castonzo, the Colts are going to need another bookend LT to protect Wentz at all cost. The Colts have a top offensive line with Quenton Nelson and Ryan Kelly anchoring it. Now they will add Cosmi who will give Wentz much more time to throw then he did in 2020.

22. Tennessee Titans - Elijah Moore, WR - Mississippi

It was hard to decide between Rashod Bateman and Moore for the Chargers, but I gave Bateman the edge earlier. Here Moore can be a new weapon for Ryan Tannehill to make up for the losses of Corey Brown and Jonnu Smith.

23. New York Jets - Najee Harris, RB - Alabama

The Jets are back on the board here. They addressed offensive tackle last year and have earlier drafted their QB of the future. I feel that the value here at WR is similar to what the Jets will see when they pick again at 34. Why not just take the best RB in the draft? Alabama has produced spectacular, durable RBs over the last ten years and I feel that Harris will join that group.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers - Kyle Trask, QB - Florida

Many are projecting the Steelers to nab Harris here but with the Jets removing Harris from the board, I feel that they plan for the future and go with Trask, who some predict to be a top to QB in this draft. Will this move one day be considered a "steal"?

25. Jacksonville Jaguars - Asante Samuel, Jr., CB - Florida State

When I think of the cornerbacks in this draft, I think of one word: pedigree. Samuel will be the third corner taken off the board who had a father who played in the NFL. That's amazing!

26. Cleveland Browns - Greg Newsome II, CB - Northwestern

I made a few goofs in my live mock draft last night, but none bigger than calling Greg Newsome II, "Craig"... as in former Packers cornerback Craig Newsome from the '90s. If that were true, then he would have been the fourth corner drafted. Here, he gives the Browns a bump at corner back joining opposite Denzel Ward.

27. Baltimore Ravens - Terrace Marshall, Jr., WR - LSU

The Ravens make their first of two picks by giving the fans what they want, a stud receiver.

28. New Orleans Saints - Micah Parsons, LB - Penn State

My second major goof of the night by doing the whole draft live was by calling Micah Parsons, "Micah Knoor" like the punter. I apologize for that, as Parsons will set out to make a name for himself as a linebacker for the Saints.

29. Green Bay Packers - Zaven Collins, LB - Tulsa

With the news of Aaron Rodgers wanting out of Green Bay, the Packers may have bigger issues. Would they want to draft more help for him on offense, or try to bolster the defense that was dismantled by Tom Brady and company in the NFC Championship game. I pick the latter.

30. Buffalo Bills - Levi Onwuzurike, DL - Washington

The Bills will bolster their interior defense by drafting the big man from Washington.

31. Baltimore Ravens - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB - Notre Dame

With their second pick in the first round, the Ravens try to keep that defense dominant by having the 2020 Dick Butkus Award winner join Patrick Queen to bolster the purple and black's linebacking corp.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Travis Etienne, RB - Clemson

It seems like everyone is back to defend the title for the Buccaneers. They already have Leonard Fournette, Ronald Jones, Jr. and Giovani Bernard, but adding the second best RB in the draft could be big for the Bucs. To the victors go the spoils!

So there you have it. My 2021 Mock Draft! Though not all of my picks will land, it sure is fun trying to do so! Have fun everyone, stay lit, and Happy Football!!
